Never volunteered for a clinical trial? A great place to start learning about what to expect is the Resource page of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). A link to the “For Research Participants” page is in the Research Links on the right side of this page.

There you can learn about what to consider before volunteering to participate, and there’s good information about the rights and responsibilities of each member of the research team. Check out the FAQ’s at the CISCRP link also for more detailed information.
